Sailweek is a Croatian-based travel company specializing in week-long, skippered sailing holidays along the Adriatic coast and beyond. Founded in 2012, it has hosted over 40,000 guests from 58 countries, offering immersive experiences that blend sailing, exploration, and vibrant social events.

01

Introduction

Workspace has completely redesigned and rebuilt Sailweek's website from the ground up, delivering a fresh, modern digital presence that reflects their adventurous brand. From UI/UX design to full-stack development, we created an intuitive, responsive platform that enhances user experience and supports seamless booking. This transformation strengthens Sailweek's online identity and helps them better engage with travelers exploring Croatia's Adriatic coast.

02

Challenge

Sailweek's average customer was labeled as "Chad" — a party monster looking to spend a week in Croatian Coast with friends having the time of his life whilst visiting the most beautiful shoreline in the world. Their current website does not reflect that idea and is too serious for a person like "Chad". The other issue is that it doesn't provide enough information about routes and about Sailweek itself.

03

Solution

Based off of the client's problems and many other inputs we had from them, we crafted a brand new refreshed website. Regarding the colors: we picked yellow to symbolize that energy, adrenaline and the sun. We paired yellow with turquoise — a tranquil, calm and restful nature of the sun-soaked Adriatic coves. Immersion was also amplified thanks to the use of advanced animations and video materials.

Some of the key features we developed

Design from the future

Our design and development team has crafted a design that hasn't been seen in this industry and on this level anywhere. Beautiful user interface, futuristic animations and immersive videos put Sailweek ahead of their competitors.

A story told

Each element, card and section on the Sailweek website has been crafted to pixel-perfect precision to convey the story as best as possible.

Expertly crafted itineraries

Itineraries that guide you through crystal-clear waters, charming islands, and vibrant cultural experiences needed perfect look and feel to achieve just that. Our team ensure each itinerary looks the best while delivering the information needed to an average user.

All new Ultra Route

We had to deliver something a bit different for Ultra Route page so we paired the dark and neon-lit party night that Ultra Festival brings each year with our turquoise colors to make Sailweek a perfect companion for the festival.

Beautiful cards for beautiful routes

Each route is now easily accessible and intuitively designed. From prices, details to the all new feature called Vibe Meter — our team tought of everything.

Workspace's efforts have helped the client achieve better engagement across the site, lower bounce rates, and more positive feedback from guests. The team is organized, communicative, and responsive to the client's needs. Workspace has understood the client's business and provided custom solutions.
